IMF commends Somalia’s commitment to economic reforms

Nigerian Presidency denies proposed rail line will extend to Maradi, Niger

Abuja, Nigeria, September  (Infosplusgabon) – Faced with backlash over the Federal Executive Council approval of $1.96bn for the construction of a rail line to link Kano, Dutse, Katsina and Maradi in Niger Republic, the Nigerian  Presidency backtracked on Thursday as Presidential Spokesperson, Malam Garba Shehu, denied that Nigeria was building a railroad to Niger.
