Kigali, Rwanda, January 10 (Infosplusgabon) - Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi will visit Rwanda, Angola, Gabon and São Tomé and Príncipe  from January 12 to 16 at the invitation of Foreign Ministers from the four African countries, a diplomatic source confirmed Wednesday in Kigali.

It said that during the first leg of his second Africa trip to Rwanda, the Chinese FM will witness the signing of a number of bilateral cooperation agreements,.

The Chinese top diplomat will also visit Angola where he will hold a meeting with his Angolan counterpart, Manuel Domingos Augusto, to discuss bilateral relations and to exchange views on regional and international issues of common concern, the statement issued by the Chinese Foreign Affairs ministry said.

Official reports indicate that business cooperation between China and the four African countries has continued to deepen over recent years with two-way trade currently staying at a high level.

Analysts say that although Chinese aids have long been accused to be “new colonialism” in Africa, it should not be denied that some financial supports from China have helped to improve the economic and social prospects in local society.

This is because an increasing number of Chinese firms in Africa are committed to corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs, analysts say.
