First Capital Bank again launches cycle challenge in Botswana

Gaborone, Botswana, April 17 (Infosplusgabon) - In Botswana, while First Capital Bank is an organization that primarily serves the financial well-being of its customers, it is also an organization that continues to promote a healthy lifestyle amongst the community.

The First Capital Bank Botswana as a way of giving back to the community, launched their 5th Cycle Challenge 2019. The annual First Capital Cycle Challenge has grown significantly over the past five years and has become one of the major events of the cycling calendar in Botswana.

 

Speaking at the launch of First Capital Bank cycling event which was held in the capital city of Gaborone on Wednesday, 17 April, 2019, the Chief Executive Office of the bank, Jaco Viljoen, said his bank will be sponsoring the new cycling kit of the local Jon mol cycling team this year.

 

The sponsor follows the launch of the cycling team’s new name in September 2018.

 

“I am delighted that we will be hosting the First Capital Bank Cycling Challenge for the 5th year in a row, partnering with Jon mol Cycling Club. With each year bringing together more and more cyclists taking up the challenge, I believe this year will be even greater than the previous events,” says Jaco Viljoen.

 

The First Capital Bank Cycle Challenge 2019 has four race categories, a 5km kiddie’s race as well as a 30km, 60km and 120km race. The Challenge accommodates children, first time, professional and veteran riders.

 

The First Capital Bank Cycle Challenge 2019 is scheduled for the 28 April, 2019, in Gaborone.
