Kenya to host 6th Sankalp Africa summit on 21-22 February

Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire, February  14 (Infosplusgabon) - The Sixth Sankalp Africa Forum will be held on 21-22 February in the Kenyan capital, Niarobi, a communiqué issued to PANA on Wednesday said.


The forum to organized by the world platform for inclusive development is under the theme “Accelerate Improbable Alliances to Build Inclusive Africa”.


Jeff Aludo, regional director of Intellcap, the Indian company that initiated the Sankalp forum, said the choice of the theme was informed by developments emanating from the World Economic Forum (WEF) aimed at creating a stimulating ecosystem for entrepreneurs.


The summit will raise funds, offer networking opportunities with more than 1,000 international companies, encourage collaboration between investors, companies and governments and provide a forum on entrepreneurial opportunities.


More than 1000 presentations and a thousand participants are expected at the summit to establish partnerships with a view to accelerating Africa’s development.


Sankalp will present awards to ten projects by companies with a strong impact on development.


In its ten years of existence, more than 20 summits were held across the world, raising 250 million US dollars for 60 companies and 3 million dollars in loans.
