According to a statement from the Algerian Ministry of Health, Mrs. Moeti, who is visiting Algeria for the first time, will meet with several personalities, notably about "strengthening cooperation between WHO and Algeria, universal health coverage, south-south cooperation and pharmaceutical products".

During her stay in Algeria, she will visit several health institutions, including the Pasteur Institute of Algeria, the National Center for Toxicology and the National Laboratory for the Control of Pharmaceutical Products.

"This visit will enable Mrs Moeti to appreciate the efforts made by Algeria in the field of health, particularly in terms of universal health coverage," the source added.
