Dakar, Senegal, July 16 (Infosplusgabon) - Teaching and Learning - Educators' Network for Transformation (TALENT), a network coordinated by UNESCO, in collaboration with Brookings Institution and Global Partnership for Education, is organizing a workshop on the 21st Century Skills assessment.
According to the UNESCO media outlet, the two-day (16-17 July, 2018) workshop, taking place in Dakar, Senegal, is the first activity of a six-month study that aims to identify existing assessment tools related to 21st century skills.
During this period, the attendees will participate in a data-gathering activity to identify and provide examples of national and classroom-based tests or test items that could be interpreted as directly or indirectly capturing 21st century skills.
The 11 Member states involved are Democratic Republic of Congo, Chad, Côte d'Ivoire, Gambia, Kenya, Lesotho, Mali, Sao Tome and Principe, Senegal, Tanzania and Zambia.
Theme of the workship is "Education transforms lives".
